The Internal Assessment is a stressful time for many students because they are left largely on their own for an extended period of time. I have found that providing some resources to help unpack the expectations for students has greatly improved their outlook and performance on this important checkpoint in the year.
IA RubricSince it can be challenging to decipher all of the sections of the IA Rubric and what each represents, I put together a version of the rubric with more detail and student friendly language. The layout of this document is intended for students to be able to walk through and self assess.
